Jerry Wayne Wood, 75, of Chester, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 in Fayetteville. He was born September 9, 1942 in Alma to the late Worth and Margret Wood. He was a truck driver, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Putzler.
He is survived by two daughters, Carlene Yell of Stilwell, OK, and Amy Jones of Mulberry; a sister, Joyce Baker of Yucaipa, CA; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
