Joan Ray Allosada, 85, of Van Buren, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025 at her home. She was born June 18, 1939 in Mulberry to the late Robert and Gusty (Frazier) Ray. She was a helper at the Van Buren Senior Activity Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lauriano Allosada; a sister, Wanda Hamilton; and a brother, Clyde “Buddy” Johnson.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Sylvia Wacker of Florida; a stepson, Reiner Allosada of Fort Smith; a cousin, Dianna Bollinger of Van Buren; and a dear friend, Thomas Wayne Eatmon of Van Buren.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Ashes will be placed at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
