

Kenneth Thomas “Ken” Glover of Muldrow, OK, formerly of Atkins, AR, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Circle of Life Hospice Home in Bentonville, AR. The son of the late Hal Thomas “Tommy” Glover Sr. and Margaret Pilgrim Glover, he was born on February 15, 1935 in Yuma, AZ. He graduated from Yuma Union High School in 1954. He then went to work for Yuma Sanitation, and with hard work, soon became the owner. He then moved to Arkansas and attended University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton and afterwards worked as a machinist for many years in Russellville to provide for his family. He fostered children, took care of family and adopted a daughter as his own. He joined Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church and was baptized on February 13, 2005 by Pastor Randall Ray and loved his church family. His biggest hobby was raising game chickens and devoted many years of research to genetics, nutrition and diseases to care for them. He loved to go see the grandchildren play baseball, football and softball. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will also be remembered for his bright blue eyes, hearty laugh and large personality. He will be missed dearly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death a brother, Dee Glover.
He is survived by his loving wife, Clara Sue Chambers Glover; two daughters, Louise Fowler and husband Robert, and Tammy Tramel and husband Keith; two stepdaughters, Stephanie Laird and husband Tommy, and Melanie Chambers; a son, Micheal T. Glover and wife Kathy; three sisters, Judy Faidley, Carol Slattery, and Claudia Edwards and husband Phillip; a brother, Gerald Glover and wife Barbara; ten grandchildren, Darby Ryan and husband Peter, Regan and Brady Laird, Audra Williams and husband Brandon, Nathan Warren and wife Leslie, Matthew Strunk, Sarah Cyr and husband Chris, Jacob Jamell and wife Stephanie, and Kaleb and Katy Tramel; eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral service will 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church in Van Buren with Bro. Randall Ray officiating. Committal will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Hunt Cemetery in Blue Ball, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Zayin Rochier, David Armstrong, Kaleb Tramel, Brady Laird, Tommy Laird, and Mike Cassels. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Tramel and Peter Ryan.
Viewing will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2020 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
