
Ken Yeager, 80, of Van Buren, formerly of Alma, died after a 5-year battle with cancer on Sunday, December 28, 2014. He was born March 1, 1934 in Battle Creek, MI to the late Lloyd and Mattie Armstrong Yeager. He was a retired machine operator for Kellogg’s in Battle Creek; and a member of Concord Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ed Yeager.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Zelma Yeager of the home; a daughter, Teri Yeager Meadors and husband Tracy of Mountainburg; a son, David Yeager and wife Barbara of Peru, IN; two sisters, Pauline Cowan of Williamston, MI, and Linda Parker of Battle Creek; two brothers, Frank Yeager of Grand Rapids, MI, and Bill Yeager of The Village, FL; a granddaughter, Alex Yeager Poor and husband Matt of Peru, IN; two great-grandchildren, Jericho and Izzy Poor of Peru, IN; and their adopted daughter, Angelia Casey Zane and husband Mark of New Jersey, and her children, Cody, Kaitlyn and Steven Casey
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Love Cemetery in Alma, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
