Lena Trujillo, 88, formerly of Espanola, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2014 at the Fianna Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Home. She was born November 20, 1925 in Espanola, New Mexico. She was a retired employee after serving 25 years with the State of New Mexico Forestry Department. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Trujillo, her parents, Augustin and Magdalena Sisneros, three sisters and one brother.
She is survived by one sister, Dorila “Doris” Swindle of Van Buren and many nieces and nephews
Memorial Mass will be at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Van Buren at a later date. Burial will be at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
