Lenora Berna

Lenora Berna, 89, of Mulberry, AR died Saturday, October 5, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker, a member of the Hamtown Baptist Church in Mulberry, and was retired from New Haven Nursing Home in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Ethel Arnold; a daughter, Earnestine Robbins; a granddaughter, Christina Robbins, two sisters, and two brothers.

She is survived by three daughters; Lou Ammonette of Altus, Marie Blackard and husband Richard of Van Buren, Shirley Ingram and husband Richard of Ozark; a son, Rickie Berna of Arkansas; two sisters, Alma Keller and Ruth Dunn both of Texas; ten grandchildren, and twenty- one great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Morris Cemetery near Dyer, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Ed Blackard, Paul Zolliecoffer, Greg Ross, Dee Kirby, Michael Hobson, and Danny Dunn. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry and Roy Dean Ammonette, H. J. and Aaron Willis.

The family will visit with friends from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2013 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
