Lloyd Baker, 70, of Booneville, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015. He was born July 29, 1945 in Tuttle, OK to the late Garland and Hazel Mae Baker. He was the retired owner/operator of QA Metal Fabricators in Fort Smith. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Magazine, and was very active with his church, and the youth of his church.
He is survived by his wife, Ann of the home; two daughters, Sherri Baker of Magnolia, TX, and Gayla Shepard of Van Buren; a son, Steven Baker of Spiro, OK; three brothers, Neal Baker of Tuttle, OK, Keith Baker of McCloud, OK, and Glenn Baker of Tuttle, OK; three grandchildren, Cynthia Jones, Brad Shepard, and Mitchell Branch, and four great-grandchildren, Hudson Jones, and J.D., Shelby, and Myles Shepard.
Family-hosted memorial will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Magazine First Baptist Church. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
