Monty Cunningham

Monty Cunningham, 56, of Mulberry, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at his home. He was born June 27, 1959 in Mulberry. He was a truck driver/dispatcher; and attended the Open Door Church in Mulberry. He was preceded in death by his father, O.D. Cunningham.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Cunningham of the home; two daughters, Kyra Cunningham (Joe Myers) of Ozark, and Montana Cunningham of Ozark; a son, Charlie Cunningham of Alto, GA; a stepdaughter, Kara Raleigh (Jason) of Mulberry; a stepson, Brian Dunbar (Melissa) of Kibler; his mother, Wanda Cunningham of Mulberry; a sister, Dianne Schneider (John) of Mulberry; a brother, Ricky Cunningham (Kathie) of Mulberry; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2016 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at New Cemetery in Mulberry, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Terry Lewis, Chuck Hawkins, Donald Whitaker, Franky Crumpton, Kenneth Milsap, and Roy Joe Kirby. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Bugg, David Beneux, Davey Edwards, Horace Modlin, and Bryan Morse.

The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren.
