Odalis was always smiling, and so full of light. Not one time did i see her upset. i’ll always remember how kind hearted she was.  I’ll miss our little late night adventures. We were always seeking somewhere new to explore. i’ll miss having somebody to have those deep conversations with. i’ll miss your laugh. i’ll miss your smile the most🤍 That smile was so contagious! I love you so much, Rest easy baby.

One of the most important and memorable  things that I think a person can do in their life, is not only just the memories they left on this earth, but the things they taught you.
When Odalis came into my life many years ago, I was a completely different person than I am now. As the shy & innocent little girl I was who was too afraid to really step out into the world fully, Odalis took my hand and showed me the way. Let me tell you this girl had some fire in her. A fire unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. She was the absolute most confident person I have ever met and had the most beautiful soul. I am the girl I am today because of this woman, 100%. She never really had much in this world, but she was happier than anyone else around us. We all had a deep conversation in Colorado a couple months ago this year about how proud we were of her. About how no matter hard things got she always had that big unforgettable grin on her face and never ever complained about one thing going on. She would much rather hear about your day. We said she had the most potential and that we could only aspire to do the things she has done with what she had. I could write a book about all of her adventures and the best memories I’ve had with this girl. I’ll miss parking at the lookout & driving my jeep screaming at the top of our lungs with the windows down to your favorite songs. I’ll miss the summers I had with you just laying out by the pool catching a tan gossiping about boys. I’ll miss traveling the world, even though I still have some destinations in mind to make it to for you that we talked about. I miss that one time you were at basic and could only write notes to us and a whole letter really only just said, “Did Travis Scott really pass away?!” I’ll miss your goofy self everyday. You were my sister. I have so many things to tell you already. I guess in the meantime I’ll say a prayer to God to please keep you entertained until we are up there to make it fun again 🦋 I love you.

Oh Odalis, you will be dearly missed, i will  Cherish our childhood memories, from growning up next together with Helen, your dog and Helen's cat. From us playing out in the circle, to playing in the back yard. To even going to the new house when yall moved, staying over. Your life on earth was cut short, but your new life is just beginning. Until we see you again 🙏

We called it our “girl gang” the group where if you saw one you would see the others. Our friendship quickly turned to bestfriends, and then to built in sisters over seven years, and even roomies for some of us. We had arguments and fights like sisters do, but there was never a fight we did not come back from stronger than ever. Odalis once said “ through all the ups and downs all that counts are the good times we shared” because that was how special our friendship was. We shared a million laughs; the kind where you can’t breathe and tears are coming from your eyes. We shared the kind of memories that shaped your life, the ones where by the time your 30 you look back and say “those were the happiest years of my life,” the ones that impacted you. We shared endless amounts of sleepovers, arguments over who would be each other’s maid of honor in our weddings one day, and even how our kids one day would grow up together, movie marathons were we didn’t leave the house all day, so many talks about what we wanted out of life, 2 am late night drives to jam out, and even seeing the world together for our first times, road trips, this list is endless. She taught me  more in the seven years I loved her, than she even realized. I will forever be your biggest supporter. I will spend the rest of my life doing all the things you wanted to do, but never got the chance too. This isn’t goodbye, it’s a until I see you again you beautiful soul.

Odali was one of my Bestfriends for 7 years I had the privilege to have known such a beautiful soul. I had so many memories that I will forever cherish. We had a Girl group the 4 of us Odali, Lewis, Cam, Kae and Bai. We weren’t like any other group of Bestfriends we did everything and anything together. We would be with one another 24/7. From our late night life  talks, our food runs, spontaneous road trips , our dancing/singing sessions, our disstrack’s we made, too sitting at the lookout and watching the sunset, and our girls nights. We had fun, we cried, laughed, and had the best times in life. I am grateful God brought someone like Odali in my life for she taught me a lot, I looked up too her, she brought so much joy in my life. She left a huge impact on me. I’m blessed to have known and loved her. She was the youngest in the group but the one with most potential, she did succeed and made me so proud , she did that. From the beginning when we became close I knew she was meant to be in my life and she was for the long run. She wasn’t just my bestfriend , she was my sister by heart. She would do anything for anyone that’s the person she was. she was the light in the room, She was the most confident, She had the biggest heart.  I moved too colorado and we still talked all the time whether it was texting, a phone call, Snapchat, or FaceTime We had been there for one another even miles apart. I really loved her and I thank her for the happiest years of my life because she really gave me that. And she will forever be in my heart. For her I will live my life in the way that she would have wanted me too. Te amo much mucho my beautiful angel.

Where there is great grief there was and forever will be great love. Odalis was loved by so many and her memory can never be forgotten. She was a very special soul, she had a energy of warmth that was always cheerful. She lit up every room with her charismatic and witty character. She was that one person you could count on to uplift your spirits and make anything seem magical. I remember watching late night movies in the car with all the girls, going on adventures and getting ourselves into a bit to much of fun! I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything. For I would much rather miss Odalis than to have never met her. She has changed my perspective on life and touched each and every person she came into contact with. I know her light will continue to shine on. 

Rest in Love my dear friend, until we meet again I will carry you in my heart. 

I remember the first day Odalis walked into work. I didn’t think much of it, but something told me she would be something else. We quickly became friends, and as a guy who doesn’t make friends easily, that meant a lot. In the 3 months that I knew her, we became pretty close, and she became like a big sister to me. I remember the 3 times she punched me in the arm, when she called me her annoying little brother, when we went to Denny’s with the work gang, that time she ended up owing me a cake (which she still owns me, so I expect it when I see her again), the time I called her my wife in front of everyone, when she introduced me to her stress ball Alfredo, when I gave her a stuffed hedgehog (which she sold btw, but ya know it was store property so I guess I can’t really blame her). I could go on and on, but ultimately my point is that Odalis made an impact on me, and the rest of the work gang, simply by being herself. She was kind, funny, compassionate, outgoing, and honest. In the short time I knew her, she really changed my life. I’ll miss her so much, and I’m glad I got to meet her. R.I.P. Odalis, love ya goofy, I’ll see ya on the other side, and you better have my cake ready!
