Patsy Delores Carter, 72, of Van Buren, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017. She was born July 9, 1945 in Van Buren to the late Buck and Treva Mattingly. She was of the Pentecostal faith, and was a housekeeping and laundry supervisor at Fianna Hills Health and Rehab Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle E. Carter, and sister, Melba Jones.
She is survived by three daughters, Kitty Sue Depriest of Winfield, AL, Gayla Jones and husband Danny of Van Buren, and Kathryn Carter of Van Buren; a sister, Naomi Link of Fort Smith; two brothers, James Mattingly of Branch, and Darrell Mattingly of Rudy; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2017 at Morrison Cemetery near Rudy, AR, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
