Reba Joyce Evans

Mrs. Reba Joyce Evans, 81, of Mountainburg, AR died Friday, August 9, 2013 in a local hospital. She was born September 9, 1931 in Van Buren to Frank and Margie Buchalla. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Hawkins, and a brother Sonny Buchalla. She was a Christian, and was retired from Central Mall in Fort Smith.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at New Heights Baptist Church in Alma with the Reverend Jimmy Morrison officiating, with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil, of the home, a daughter Corette Cogburn and her husband B.J. of Mountainburg, two sons; Jim Casey and his wife Mary of Rudy, Chuck Evans of Alma, AR, a brother Bill Buchalla, grandchildren Sharla Casey, Crystal Collins, Angie Morrison, Kenny Pixley, Great Grandchildren Casey Hays, Sophie Morrison, Mason Collins, and numerous nieces and nephews

Pallbearers will be Kenny Pixley, Brad Morrison, A.J. Collins, Randy McClendon, Ronald Walls, and Bobby Walls

Honorary Pallbearers will be the staff and management of Alma Healthcare and Rehab.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren.
