Sheila Metcalf Sams, 66, of Van Buren, passed from this life into Glory on Thursday, October 19, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. She was born March 9, 1956 in Asheville, NC. She had worked as a pharmacy technician at Walmart for over 20 years. She loved reading, traveling, and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kevin Sams of Van Buren; a daughter, Shevonne Coleman and husband Colby of Alma; two sons, Brian Sams of Mars Hill, NC, and Matthew Sams and wife Michelle of Weaverville, NC; and six grandchildren, Malachi, Zoe, Noah, Ethan, Kennedy, and Madden.
Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2023 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
