Steven Edward Brandenburg

Steve Brandenburg, 72, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at his home. He was born December 5, 1948 in Wynnewood, OK to Merle and Wanda Brandenburg. He was retired from Whirlpool after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Brandenburg.

He is survived by his companion, Carol Nelms; two daughters, Sherry Hesson and Carolyn Gresham, both of Mulberry; two sons, Keven Brandenburg and wife Kristen and Chad Brandenburg and wife Melanie, both of Van Buren; two sisters, Merlene Blagg of Denton, TX, and Nancy Coulson of Ada, OK; a brother, Raymond Brandenburg of Van Buren; seven grandchildren, Chase, Maya, and Carly Brandenburg, Braden Gresham, and Matthew, Megan, and Morgan Hesson; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Beyond Church in Alma with interment to follow at Pope Cemetery in the Graphic Community, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Chase Brandenburg, Matthew Hesson, Braden Gresham, Morgan Hesson, Kevin Brandenburg, Chad Brandenburg, Chris Waters, and T.C. Harris.

Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2020, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
