Stuart Wayne Keller, 57, of Van Buren, passed away with his wife and children by his side, Saturday, December 28, 2024. He was born in Fort Smith on December 24, 1967. He attended school in Van Buren and worked at various locations including Tankersley Foods. Stuart had one rule; live everyday like it was a party, and he did just that. He was never an emotional man. If he loved you, you knew it. He had many opinions especially about politics and the world around us, which he expressed avidly, especially about politics. But there was no limit to his knowledge of things. He tried to learn about everything. He was never one for rapport or walking the dotted line. Stuart made his own path, drummed his own beat, and walked to his own rhythm. He was a true child of the 80’s. He was a music lover with no talent of his own. He was a humorous man who used curse words with flair. He had a love for the things most people found profane. But in true Stuart fashion . . . he didn’t much care.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton Nelson Keller and Erlene Ann Shaddy; a brother, Michael Allen Keller; and his grandparents, Floyd and Marjorie Harrison and Nelson and Odell Keller.
He is survived by his loving wife, Keri Keller of 18 years, though they were best friends for 40 years; three sons, Austen Keller and wife Andreunne, Josh Keller, and Grayson Keller; three daughters, Jade Latta and husband Jeremy, Sidney Huggins, and Brandie Fowler and husband Blake; seven grandchildren, Gemma, Cadence, Canon, Briken, Addisyn, Alex, and Lyric; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including his three best friends he called brothers, Chris Waldrop, Archey Wornkey, and Shawn West.
A family-hosted Celebration of Life will begin at Gill Cemetery at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025 with a scattering of ashes, and conclude with family visiting with friends at Old Town Grain & Feed, 503 Garrison Avenue in Fort Smith beginning at 6:00 p.m. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
To Stuart from his family – We love you and will miss your presence down here, but we know up there you can see us all. Stay with us until we meet again over the rainbow in Neverland. Find that bench and wait on your woman.
