Tommy Joe Stokes, 65, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 in Fort Smith. He was born July 12, 1957 in Mena. He was a Mason, and a dispatcher for the Arkansas State Police.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma (Bledsoe) Stokes.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Stokes of the home; two sons, Joseph Wynn of Van Buren, and Daniel Strother and wife Tiffany of Greenwood; and three grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Dripping Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
