Weldon Doyle McHam, 73, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 in Fort Smith. He was born June 20, 1949 in Vernon, TX to the late W.D. and Jessie (Wilder) McHam. He served in the U.S. Army, and had been a custodian, an LPN, and a diesel mechanic over the years.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Glenda McHam of the home; a daughter, Shannon Helm; three sons, Paul McHam of Van Buren, Mark McHam and wife Michelle of Texas, and Mac McHam and wife Saylor of Van Buren; a sister, Doris Dibley and husband John of Texas; two brothers, Douglas McHam and wife Tammy, and Dewayne McHam, all of Texas; and his grandchildren, Lillie Grace, Lorelai, and Audrey, plus several others.
Graveside memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2023 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
