Marcelina T. Castillo

CASTILLO, Marcelina Trujillo, born on May 13, 1946 returned to her heavenly home on October 8, 2017. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in life and ultimately gave her peace.

She will be remembered for her dedicated faith in God and how she shared that grace with everyone she knew and loved. She taught her loved ones how to pray, the art of forgiveness, and being generous.

As the family matriarch, she always put everyone before herself, and never stopped giving until her last breaths. Marcelina was blessed with large, loving family. She has 15 brothers and sisters, 4 children, 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many cousins, nephews, nieces and god-children.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Rita Trujillo and siblings Manuel, Rogelio, Pablo and Blanca Estella. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Enrique B. Castillo, daughters Araceli, Griselda (Fernando), Edith; son Enrique (Kathy), 14 grandchildren; Stephanie (Adam), Vanessa, Marcelina, Cassandra, Adriana, Megan, Enrique, Monique, Griselda, Ashley, Danielle, Alyssa, Cera and Rebecca; 5 great-grandchildren.

Marcelina lived a beautiful life with dignity and grace. She spent her last moments surrounded by those she cared for the most - coming together in prayer.
