Born June 18, 1920 in Long An, Vietnam, Ba was the second eldest of seven children, born to Lê Văn Tâm and Nguyễn Thị Lời. Ba was known as a gracious person who would not hesitate to lend a helping hand. Her generosity, compassion and selflessness will not be forgotten. Ba is predeceased by her beloved husband, Nguyễn Văn Chín, siblings Lê Văn Hại, Lê Văn Bắc, Lê Thị Hăm, Lê Thị Tuyết and Lê Văn Thành. Ba leaves behind one brother, Lê Văn Sáu. She also leaves behind two daughters, Ut Thi Nguyen, Kim Lien Thi Huynh and her husband Dao Thuong Huynh, and their two sons, Thuong (Tom) Huynh and Terry Huynh.
