Charles was born in Cadillac, Saskatchewan on November 12, 1927. He was a long-term employee of the Vancouver School Board and a member and leader at Faith Fellowship Baptist Church for 48 years. He was pre-deceased by his sisters Irene (Ross) Ruth (Jack) and brother David (Mary). He is survived by his sister Beverley. He was married to his wife Sheila for 65 years and is survived by 5 children Jack (Gayle), Stephen (Dorothy), Kathy (Leon), Bryan, Gerry (Nancy). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
A service of remembrance will be held at Faith Fellowship Baptist Church on September 5th at 1 pm. Faith is at 2551 E. 49th Ave. Vancouver, BC V5S 1J6. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Faith Fellowship’s mission’s fund. Charles was a missionary and a long term member of the missions committee.
