Mrs. Chieko "Cindy" Honda was born in Kakegawa-shi, Shizuoka, Japan on January 1, 1951 and passed away peacefully in her home in Vancouver, British Columbia on Sunday, May 30, 2021. A private Funeral Service will be held at The Vancouver Buddhist Temple among the immediate family. Chieko was friendly, funny, and hard-working, and enjoyed learning English and participating in activities at local neighbourhood houses after her retirement. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, two daughters, and grandchildren. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Honda family.
