Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Christopher made a life marked by compassion, quiet strength, and curiosity. He dedicated much of his career to helping others, working as a counsellor with Pioneer House and contributing to the MPA Society, where he supported countless individuals on their paths to wellness with patience and empathy.
Christopher had a deep bond with his daughter Celeste, and together they created many fond memories, including appearing as extras in film and television productions shot in Vancouver — a fun and unique experience they cherished.
He had a lifelong passion for sports, especially track and field, and rarely missed a major competition. He also loved reading science fiction, often getting lost in the possibilities of other worlds. In his spare time, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of walking, swimming, and taking in the quiet beauty of the world around him.
Christopher is survived by his beloved daughter Celeste, his three sisters Heather, Karen and Joan and his nephew Ryan, and nieces Jillian and Jordy, all of whom will remember him for his gentle nature, thoughtful conversations, and steadfast support.
A Celebration of Christopher’s Life will be held on Friday October 17 at 2:30 pm from Glenhaven Memorial Chapel 1835 East Hastings Street, Vancouver.
Christopher will be deeply missed.
