Chung Wing Cheung 張松榮

我們一家懷著無比沉重的心情通知大家，張松榮不幸逝於2026年4月22日，享年七十七歲。謹訂於2026年5月8日上午10時 於孟碧珊世界殯儀館(306 East 11th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5T2C6) 設靈，敬邀諸位親友親臨弔唁，共送他最後一程。

父親是因為 4月21日 腹胸腔疼痛，送往急症室治療。查出原因是肝臟裏有一顆還沒偵測到的腫瘤病變導致急性內出血。他先於列治文醫院接受輸血救助，再轉至溫哥華綜合醫院準備手術止血。晚上抵達時生命特徵有明顯的改善，因此，醫生決定改為留醫觀察。遺憾的是，那一刻只是他迴光返照的一瞬間，堅韌的他仍像平常般跟我們講話。深夜，醫護人員送他去X-光化驗後，卻發現父親已經沒有生命跡象，即使醫護人員全力搶救，父親還是於深夜平靜地走完了他勤勉的一生。我們悲慟欲絕，痛失這世上和我們羈絆很深的丈夫和爸爸。

張松榮忠厚正直，性格堅強，長年與肝硬化和循環系統問題戰鬥到最後一刻。平日熱愛運動，常到泳池游泳鍛鍊身體，始終努力維持健康。即使在醫院受醫期間承受肉體上的劇痛，依然向我們一家人展露他健康的一面。目睹他隱忍承受，一旁的我們心如刀割。文靜的他默默為這一家付出許多。他投身於鐘錶首飾行業，活躍數十年，在外奔忙。在他骨子裡的刻苦耐勞，努力不懈地從底層打滾奮鬥，躍升為管理階層，成為公司的骨幹。

張松榮，你是我們家的一棵大松樹，為我們遮風擋雨, 更是我們家的榮耀。

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Chung Wing Cheung, our beloved husband and father, on April 22, 2026, at the age of 77.

A Visitation will be held on May 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Universal Funeral Home (306 East 11th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5T2C6). Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and offer their final farewell.

On April 21, he was taken to the emergency department after experiencing severe abdominal and chest pain. Doctors discovered acute internal bleeding caused by a previously undetected liver tumor. He received emergency blood transfusions at Richmond Hospital and was later transferred to Vancouver General Hospital in preparation for surgery to stop the bleeding.

Upon arriving that evening, his vital signs showed significant improvement, and the doctors decided to continue close observation rather than proceed immediately with surgery. He spoke to us as usual, reassuring us with his strength, as if recovery was within reach. Tragically, he passed away unexpectedly later that night. It is painful beyond words for us to accept that our beloved husband and father has left this world.

Chung Wing Cheung was a man of integrity, quiet strength, and deep devotion to his family. Despite years of health challenges, including liver cirrhosis and circulatory illness, he faced life with resilience and dignity. He enjoyed regular exercise and often went swimming to stay fit, always making an effort to maintain his health. Even while he was undergoing immense pain in the hospital, he continued to conceal his suffering and showed us only his healthiest and strongest self.

He was a dedicated professional in the watch and jewelry industry for decades. Through perseverance and steadfast effort, he rose from humble beginnings to become a respected member of management and a valued pillar within his company. His work ethic, humility, and strong sense of responsibility defined both his career and his character.

To our family, Chung Wing Cheung was our great pine tree, sheltering us through life’s storms. His love, sacrifice, and presence will remain with us always. It has been our greatest pride and blessing to have him in our lives.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
