He was a cherished husband and father, who will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Clifford was born on November, 24th, 1933 and lived his entire life in Vancouver, BC. He was the 2nd oldest of 9 children, devoting some of his younger life to helping out with the family business. In turn, this eventually led to him owning and operating 2 grocery stores of his own.
On May 19th, 1962 he married Henriette, and 4 years later their son Andrew was born.
Clifford enjoyed watching ice hockey and pro wrestling, but upon retirement he was able to truly enjoy an even greater passion, which was playing tennis. The Queen Elizabeth Park tennis courts were a 2nd home to him, and if he had a dollar for every hour spent up there, he would have been a multi-millionaire many times over!!
Mild mannered and unassuming, Clifford was a man of few words. If given the choice, he shied away from large social gatherings, but he was definitely not shy. Always friendly, and quick to smile, the World is a dimmer place without him.
Clifford is survived by his loving wife of almost 64 years, Henriette, their son Andrew, and his siblings Ken, Norman, Victor, Marina, Diane and Ginny, as well as his many nieces, nephews and their families. He is predeceased by his parents, Peter and Mabel, and siblings Buddy and Doreen.
