Born on January 10, 1955 in Ottawa, he spent his youth in Nova Scotia until the age of 18, when he relocated to Vancouver, B.C., where he resided for the remainder of his life.
Upon arriving in Vancouver, he worked a variety of part-time jobs while pursuing his education at Simon Fraser University. Following his graduation, he began his career with the Canada Border Services Agency, where he dedicated 28 years of service before retiring at the age of 55 due to a stroke.
It was during his time at CBSA that he met his wife, Mayleen. Six years later, they welcomed their child, Christopher.
He enjoyed taking walks in the park, often feeding the squirrels. He had a passion for collecting watches, coins, and arrowheads, and took great pleasure in learning and sharing his knowledge about watches.
He was an avid reader with a strong interest in history. He also enjoyed gelato and cherished time spent with his family.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, his friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
