Ella Caroline Braun

It is with deep sorrow that we announce that Ella Caroline Braun passed away peacefully on January 01, 2019, at Crofton Manor. She was born to parents Max and Elizabeth Brayer on May 19th 1932, in Shaunavan Saskatchewan. She is survived by her loving husband Gunter, her children Diane (Chandra) & Robert (Deborah), Gunter’s children, Helen (Les) , Margret (Trevor), Lothar (Bonnie), as well as grandchildren, Christy, Cory, Shaun, Myles, Katie, Nicole, Andrea, Julie, Nolan, Josh, and great grandchildren, Mason, Braeden, Cole, Eva, Sophia, Kennedy, Dominic, Adrian, Annalia, Courtney, Jaye, the late Kyle, Kaeyden, and Noah.

The times she spent with her grandkids were the best times of her life. Mom was so grateful for all the people in her life and for all the family God blessed with her. Back in the day mom loved to skate, she loved to dance, and she loved to cook. She loved to explore the world through reading (often reading books on nutrition & spirituality). She was a women who loved to have fun and laugh. She had a great sense of humor and laughing along with others was a one of the great pleasures of her life.

Mom you’ve blessed our world with your kindness, gentleness, and compassion. You’ve shown us what it means to be a woman of faith, love and goodness. We will love you forever.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Crofton Manor & Pastor Manfred for their kindness.

A Memorial Service for Ella will be held Wednesday March 6th at 10am at Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church 505 E46th Avenue Vancouver BC. In lieu of flowers, Donations to Martin Luther Evangelical Church would be greatly appreciated.
