Gary was a very beautiful person. He loved his music, riding his bike and being with friends and family.
The most important person in his life was his son Junior. He Kept him close to his heart and always wanted to make sure he was fine. Gary was proud of Junior and will always watch over him.
He loved seeing Junior, Randa and the grand kids “Grayson and “Olivia” . Every time they would all meet up it bought Gary joy to see them.
Gary loved his sister Donna who was always there for him. She looked out for him and they would always talk on the phone together. Knowing she was on the phone gave Gary comfort.
I met Gary over 30 years ago and we lived life and did a lot of crazy things. He taught me to be street smart and to always be careful. I am grateful after all these years God put us back into contact and gave me these last few months with him. I truly believe it was meant to be. I did whatever I could to take care of him at VGH and to keep him company. It made me feel good I was there for him. He always had good things to say and always told me when times were tough to just keep going and you will get through the stumbling block like you always do. His positive words kept me going and he was always right. He will always be close to my heart!
