Harold Hoy Ning Jang 鄭海寧

It is with great sadness that the Jang family announce the passing of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, Harold Hoy Ning Jang of Vancouver, BC. He was born on July 11, 1945 in Ying Ping, Guangdong Province, China and on November 22, 2022 at the age of 77 he peacefully passed away in Vancouver, BC.

Harold Hoy Ning Jang was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his loving wife, Shui Hing Jang, and beloved brother, Ricky Jang and sister, May Woo. Harold and Shui Hing were very proud of their four children: Linda Jang, Jennifer Jang and her partner, Gary Morgan, Brenda Jang and her husband, David Mao, Jason Jang and his wife, Lisa Jang. He adored his six grandchildren: Lauren Lee, Elizabeth Lee, Abigail Lee, Sophia Mao, Jacob Jang and Aiden Jang.

Harold dedicated his career to establishing the family business Topper Poultry Ltd. He was an avid animal lover with a strong passion for birds and aquatic life. In addition to his love for animals, he enjoyed watching football and was a devoted fan of the BC Lions. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren at his home.

A viewing will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel (1835 E. Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC).

Funeral Service will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 10:00 am.

Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park (3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC, at 12:00 pm.)
