Hershel Gregory Calling Eagle Yellow-Quill

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Hershel Gregory Yellow-Quill. Hershel was of Cree, Anishinaabe and Lakota descent maternally through the medicine man and spiritual leader lineage “Sitting Bull”. Hershel was one of the Human Beings and was gifted the name “Calling Eagle” in ceremony. It is with heightened love and spiritual unity with which we release his beautiful Spirit to the loving embrace of his Ancestors and Creator. He was an Artist, wicked gamer, cousin, uncle, brother, and friend. Hershel’s love knew no limits and gave from his big Indian heart. Predeceased by his Great, Great Grandmother We Zee-gun, Great Grandmother Mary Gregory Yellow-Quill (Gooko), Grandfather Alexander Contois who he loved watching WWF with when he was a young boy and has many fond memories of, his mother Betty-Anne Yellow-Quill, father Harry Myron, Son Hershal Tyler Yellow-Quill, sisters, Amanda Yellow-Quill, Ramona Dawn Yellow-Quill, Sonya Jennifer Hunter. He is survived by his Grandmother Shirley Elizabeth Contois, Sisters Lisa Marie Yellow-Quill, Angel Miness, brothers Daemon Hunter, Lawrence Miclash, Kingsley Yellow-Quill, Harry Lance Myerion as well leaves countless Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, in the struggle for ultimate liberation and freedom from the forces that never will put his beautiful Spirit and heart beat of his nations to rest.
