It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irvine Wilson. Irvine died peacefully on May 8, 2013, surrounded by his family. Affectionately known as Muppy, he is predeceased by his wife Anne and survived by his granddaughters Debra (Gord), Linda (Gord), Sherry, Donna, 8 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren and 2 great great great grandchildren. Irvine was a member of the armed forces in World War II and worked with BC Hydro for 34 years. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 7:00 pm at St. Andrew’s Parish at 480 E. 47th Avenue in Vancouver. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew’s at 10:30 am on Thursday, May 16, 2013. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. James Cottage Hospice.
