Jack Chung Fat Marr

November 15, 1936 - June 24, 2012

A beloved husband and father, Jack was a kind and generous man, rich in family and friends. He was a man of strong principles and believed in respect, honesty and integrity. His mantra was "Never forget those who helped you through life."

A self-made man, Jack not only operated Marr's Auto Body Ltd. for 37 years, but also took pride in designing his own home. Jack was born in Toi Shan, China and was pre-deceased by his parents, King Mah and Jong Mun Mah and sister Lan Heung Ma. He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife, Shirley, his respectful sons, Darren and Clifford, sister, Shun Ho Ma, nephew, Raymond (Doris) and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada and China. In lieu of flowers, donations to the following charities are appreciated: BC Cancer Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC or British Columbia Lung Association. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 10:30am at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 E. Hastings St., at Victoria Drive. Graveside Service to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Ave., Burnaby.
