James Richard Fisk

With a heavy heart, I must announce the passing of my dear brother, James Richard Fisk on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in Vancouver, B.C. He was born in Timmins, ON, June 18, 1950. James was raised from the age of 7 along with his biological sister, Kathy (Kathleen Shirley) on a farm in Greenock, Ontario. He attended school in Walkerton & graduated in 1968 from the Walkerton District High School. Shortly after he travelled & worked across Canada for the railroad & as a lumberjack until he landed in Vancouver where he was employed in the Roofing & Siding Business where he retired.

James was a very talented young man, he was a master of the accordion in his younger years, never had to play by note, only by ear. He also had a wonderfully humorous side to him, very quick with his quirky one-liners, he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his sister Kathleen, brother-in-law Hans J. & his two nephews Martin & Ryan Olsen.
