Born December 23, 1933 in Ano Melpia, Messinia, Greece. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandpa on Sunday, August 28, 2022.
(Predeceased wife, Helen). He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his daughter Maria, son-in-law Kosta, grandson Yianni, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
John was an active and highly devoted member at the Greek Seniors Society and Greek Community.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at Vancouver General Hospital, Pacific Spirit Community Palliative Care, and the Vancouver Hospice society for their compassion and care.
Prayers will be offered on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 7:00pm at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 4500 Arbutus Street, Vancouver, BC, with a funeral service to take place in Ano Melpia, Messinia, Greece.
