John "Scotty" Seath

August 15, 1919 - February 26, 2015

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of "Scotty" our beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle. Scotty was born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland 95 years ago to Archie & Helen Seath and was the only son growing up with three wonderful sisters all of whom he was very close to. He was predeceased by both parents and all sisters. Scotty is survived by the love of his life for over 70 years, Mary Jane; son Rob (Lorraine); daughters Sandy (Rick), Linda; grandchildren Lindsay (Tyler), Carrie, Kate, Megan, Emily and numerous nieces and nephews. Scotty was truly a family man and loved us all very much. He was a sweet gentle man and a gentleman. We will miss him forever.

A prayer service will be held on Monday March 9, 2015 at 6:00 pm at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church , 6880 Balmoral St. Burnaby, BC. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 10:00 at St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church. Reception to follow (across the street) at the Nikkei Cultural 6688 Southoaks Crescent Burnaby BC. Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3789 Canada Way, Burnaby, BC.

If the spirit moves you please play a round of golf in dad's name or toast a rye and sprite in his honour. Goodbye dad and, yes we know, "you're fine".
