ALEXANDER, Lorna Sharon SutherlandPassed away peacefully on March 18, 2014 with family members by her side. Lorna was born in West Branch, Nova Scotia on March 10, 1946. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert Sutherland and Burdena Sutherland Cowan and step-father Kenneth Cowan, also sister Margaret Shea and brother Hughie Sutherland. She leaves to mourn her loving husband George and two sons Jason and Justin, Brother Jamie (Audrey) and Sister Janette (Hugh) Matheson as well as many nieces and nephews. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke or a charity of your choice. A big thank you to all the Staff at Royal Columbian Hospital ICU who gave her such superb and loving care. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 306 East 11 Ave. , Vancouver on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 11:00 am with a reception and burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
