
Louise Michelle Didyk, age 41, of Vancouver BC, originally of Welland ON, passed away peacefully at home on June 22, 2014, surrounded by family and friends, after a courageous dance with cancer. She was the beloved wife of James Alexander “Sandy” Burns, and devoted mother of Sophie Didyk Burns, age 4.
Besides her husband, Sandy, and daughter, Sophie, Louise is survived by her mother Diane Tessier-Mollica (Joseph Mollica), father Gordon Didyk, sisters Lois Didyk (Peter Leong) and Laurie Didyk-Mindorff (Chris Mindorff), and her beloved nieces and nephews: Taylor Leong, and Kristen, Genevieve, Arianne, and Aidan Mindorff. She also leaves behind her extensive family in Canada and Scotland as well as many friends, colleagues, and clients who will remember Louise for her passion, her joy, her energy, her determination, and her amazing smile.
Louise was an incredible person who loved spending time with her husband and daughter, family, and many friends. She loved travel, physical activity, the beauty of nature, and the healing power of laughter and touch.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Callanish Society. Condolences may be left online in the Vancouver Memorial Services guestbook.

A Celebration of Louise’s life for family and friends will be held at the Mountain View Celebration Hall (5455 Fraser St, Vancouver) on Saturday June 28, 2014 at 10:00 am with a reception to follow at 11:30 am.
