Lorraine was born on August 11, 1932 and lived her whole life in Vancouver. She married Leonard on June 27, 1959 and spent 55 years together until he passed in 2014. Lorraine dedicated her life to being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, baking, entertaining, playing Mar Jong, watching the Canucks play and going to the casino to play her favourite slot machine “The Queen’s Knight”. But her greatest passion of all was just spending time with family and friends. She will always be remembered for her New Year’s parties and her famous deep fried chicken.
She is predeceased by her husband Leonard and brother James “Buddy”. She is survived by her children Janis (Donn), Susan (Steve) and Darrell (girlfriend Elisa); grandsons Dylan and Nicholas; sisters Vivian and Cecelia “Dolly”, brothers Tommy, Gordon (Judy) and Bobby, brother-in-law Bill, sister-in-law Elsie and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be forever in our hearts.
In keeping with Covid restrictions, a private viewing will be held on January 5, 2021 at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel followed by the burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
