Mark Francis Pelletier

Mark was the loving son of John and Ursula (Cicci), brother of Kathleen (Mike), Suzanne (Peter), Paul (Barbara); uncle to Chris (Suzi), PJ (predeceased), Alex, Michaela, Tricia (Dale), Marcus (Holly); great uncle to Alice and Henry and cousin to many.

A self taught computer programmer and analyst, Mark began his career in trade processing and fixed income operations at Goldman Sachs Canada before branching out across many industries, providing automation programming, software consulting, as well as providing volunteer computer tutoring services at various nonprofit organizations. Co-workers, friends and neighbours, especially in his downtown Eastside Vancouver home that he loved so much, always remember Mark for his friendly nature and kindness. His family will always remember his creative talent and love of guitar, his devotion to his beloved parents, and his love of many wonderful times enjoyed with siblings. Mark will be missed by so many friends and family; may he rest in eternal peace.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Sacred Heart Parish Chapel in Delta, BC followed by burial at Gardens of Gethsemani Catholic Cemetary in Surrey, BC and a reception at Augustine House retirement home.

In lieu of flowers, if you wish, a donation can be made to the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre Society, the Downtown Eastside Neighbourhood House, Question Food Exchange or to any service organization in your community.
