It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Masako (Martha) Nakada on August 17, 2016 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband Hideo (George) in 1996, Masako leaves behind her sons Lorne (Mika), Marke (Gina) and Nigel, and her beloved grandchildren Arisa and Gaby.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 306 E. 11th Ave., Vancouver. Reception to follow. A special thank you to the staff at St. Michael's Hospice.
