It is with deep sadness we share the sudden passing of our dear relatives Stephanie Tanya Apodaca Lewis and Michael ‘Mike’ Brandon Gardner on March 8, 2026, in North Vancouver. Stephanie was born to her late parents James Christopher Lewis and Marjorie Constance Isabel Apodaca in Everett WA. USA. Mike was born to his parents Michael Gardner Sr. and mother Roxanne (nee Wolbaum) in North Vancouver, BC. Stephanie grew up in United States, Capilano, Squamish (Cheakamus IR No. 11), and North Vancouver. She attended Ridgeway and Norgate Elementary, Carson Graham Schools, and Eslha7an Learning Centre. Mike grew up in North Vancouver and Squamish and attended Squamish Elementary and Howe Sound Secondary Schools. Stephanie loved to cook and worked as a food cater and flagger. Mike was a logger and fell trees, and a roofer. They collected DVDs, enjoyed Batman, the Incredible Hulk (Avengers), Hello Kitty and Strawberry Shortcake. They will best be remembered for their love of family and friends, visiting, movie night and backyard swims.

Mike and Stephanie were common law partners for 19 years and will be dearly missed by their children Decimus Jerome Cyres Apodaca Lewis, Dayton Brandon Lewis Gardner, Faith Sienna Dolores Lewis Gardner & Che Low-Key Desmond Lewis Gardner; Mike’s parents Roxanne Wolbaum & Michael Gardner Sr.; Auntie Mom Brenda Iris Lewis; Stephanie’s siblings Shawna Dee Apodaca, Shaneenia Wey'Tna Apodaca, Lau'Ya Singing Storm Apodaca; Mike’s siblings Richelle Davison (James) & Danielle Donald with Jarod & Taylor Davidson; Stephanie’s Aunts & Uncles Karen Joy Lewis, Doran William Lewis (Julie), Lynn Lorraine Lewis, Barry Scott Lewis, Kilila Marlene Apodaca-Cassell and Edward Claude Apodaca; Stephanie’s special siblings Louie James Lewis & Iris Lewis; Mikes special siblings Jaimie Hortin, Brandi Horton, & Amanda Browne; and dear friends Domminick Baker and Tisheena Phillips.
