I had the great pleasure of getting to know Michel and his kind and generous spirit touched me deeply. What a gift for me-what a gift for all of us. I lit a candle for Michel last night at 7pm and thought about this quote 
 “We meet but briefly in life, if we touch each other with stardust – that is everything.” -Author unknown.

I haven't seen Michel for 10 years, but I remember his love and kindness like I saw him yesterday, and I am so saddened to hear of his passing. Michel was one of the most humble and generous people I've ever met. His heartfelt desire to make a difference for others and his commitment to going above and beyond the call of duty was extraordinary. My heart goes out to Ellen and all his family and friends who are mourning the loss of such a wonderful man. God Bless.

Quelle surprise de lire le décès de Michel dans le journal du 31 oct. Je l'ai peu connu, certainement pas autant que ses parents et Gérald et Ernest puis Raymond, Robert et enfin Anita et Rose Marie.
Je vous offre mes sympathies, à vous tous, une grande famille bien spéciale pour plusieurs.  J'ai toujours eu beaucoup de respect pour Paul et Simone, deux citoyens convaincus qui ont largement contribué à l'avancement de la langue française en Alberta.
 
66 ans est encore bien trop jeune il me semble.

En ce 2 novembre, je le joins aux autres personnes que j'ai connues dans mes prières.

Michel je ne peux pas croire que tu es parti… 48hrs avant j'ai tente de te rejoindre mais sans succès; je sais qu'au moins tu connais l'amour filiale que j'avais pour toi. Je t'ai toujours considérée comme un père spirituel et ton départ me chagrine fortement.

J'aurais tellement aime t'emmener a la plage comme nous avions discuté avant l'opération. J'irais ce soir avec ma chandelle me commémorer ton souvenir et ton eternel sourire. Garde nous une place au chaud et brille ta sagesse de là-haut.

Je suis incroyablement reconnaissant d'avoir connu une personne aussi précieuse que toi, je serai entre-temps a porter de main d'Ellen et t'invite à te réincarner pas trop loin!

And whatever standards he sets by exemplary acts, all the world pursues"

I never met Michel in person, but I had the pleasure of speaking with him often since we were co-workers on the same team at Metasoft. I was always inspired by his authenticity and his genuine concern for making a difference with people and feel blessed that we were able to connect.  The world has been touched by him being her.  Blessings and condolences to Ellen and his family.

Michel had the BEST laugh!!!  I only worked with Michel for a short time but I certainly could see what a gentle yet vibrant soul he was.  When I once asked him how his weekend was, he replied "It was extraordinary"  When I told him he had the best laugh...he replied "That's sounds like an invitation for friendship"  The world needs more lovely, kind souls like Michel.  He shall be dearly missed by many.  Sending strength and love to his wife, family and many friends during this sad time.

I didn't know Michel, but know Ellen and knowing Ellen gives me a sense of MIchel and how great he was.  My condolensces to you Ellen and your family.

Well it's hard to be original but the only word that really captures all of him is LOVE. Big ball of fun love. A happy, gentle man who lived an awesome life.

When I lived in Vancouver I was fortunate enough to meet people who changed my life. Michel was one of them, as was Ellen, as I had the good fortune to meet them through Landmark Education. I remember Michel coaching me during one of my 'up against the wall' moments. He was patient, kind, thoughtful, humorous. He talked of being powerful in one's life, no matter the circumstances. I am saddened to hear of his passing. You never know who you might make a difference for, and in what short space of time it might be. I know his circle is wide, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to know Michel. I send love and light to the family at this time.

The commitment to clear communication and the expression(s) of love combined from the coaching and teaching of both Michel and Ellen remain with me now...and now. My gratitude for sharing Michel's time here with me(and us all)to Ellen, family and friends.

Memorial Gathering will take place at the family farmsite in Legal at 1:30 PM Saturday Nov.5 th for the planting of a commemorative tree and scattering of his ashes ...followed by a reception at Manoir Savenay , 9815- 100a ave in Morinville  at 3 PM.

Michel radiated love, it was always sparkling in his eyes.  He will be missed by so many as he made such a difference in the world.  Both he and Ellen are the most inspiring example of what is possible if you are willing to live from an open heart.  That inspiration will live on, we shall not forget Michel.

Michel made a huge difference in my life when he came up to the Sunshine Coast to do an introduction to the Communications Program at Landmark.. his way of being and his self expression created a space for me to say yes and that changed my life.. Ellen's leadership in the Communications Course also changed my life and I am so very grateful... you are both in my heart and always will be.
