Nandi Papaji lived a life full of warmth, humor, and dedication. A father figure, he was known for his kindness and storytelling leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. His laughter and love will be deeply missed.

IN MEMORIAM

The sad demise of revered Nandi Ji, after a prolonged illness was very shocking and a bolt from the blue for all of us, and for near and dear ones that were close to him as relations, friends and colleagues. 

A STRONG PILLAR OF OUR FAMILY HAS FALLEN.

I have been closely related to him, being his first cousin, and actively associated with him for the past six decades in all social, religious and family functions. During young early years of our life we had the opportunity to be together with our Grandfather, Dr. P.N. Dewan.

Nandi ji, being a spiritual person as well as an avid traveller, has travelled from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, and several times over to the Kailash Mansarovar, also once along with my daughter Archana. He has attended almost all the Kumbh Melas held during his lifetime. Perhaps, if his health allowed, he would have attended this year’s Mahakumbh as well. 

He will be dearly missed, loved and remembered by my family, my children- Aradhana, Archana, Aparajita and Ayush, and my two year old grandson who fondly remembers him as ‘Bade Dadu’ with whom he would sing the bhajan ‘Bolo Bolo Krishna Kala Kyun’ regularly. 

We pray to the almighty that his soul rests in peace.
And we continue to carry his legacy through the grace and wisdom he bestowed upon us.

Nandi was a dear friend to me during my school days.  We always kept in touch while he was in the West Coast and I was in Ontario.
We visited one another whenever we could.

 We're sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept our  condolences during this difficult journey .
 Masa was such an amazing person who always had smile on his face. One of the best memory that will always be in my heart was when you both visited New York few years back and time he spent with Parv singing him  rhymes and Parv will say one more time and Masa will sing again for him to see Parv’s smile. 
He was beautiful soul , very kind and sweet person.

We cherish each and every memory we made with him , the last time when we went for the Dehradun trip ,  took Holy dip in the river Ganga , enjoyed the Ram Mandir ceremony , jammed on his favourite old songs  , etc .

Since childhood, we have cherished so many fond memories of Nandi papaji. During his visits to India he always made sure to visit us and get connected to his chacha ji , chachi ji and the whole Jethi family
