Many, many years have passed since we last saw our cousin Richard in Renfrew County Ontario as a lively, humourous young lad with an infectious smile and curly mop of hair. So sorry to hear that he passed tragically before we could all meet again. How unfortunate that we cannot gather as a family at this time and rekindle our memories and our ties. Our deepest sympathies to Sheila and Paul and our McHugh cousins.

I had not seen Richard since the early '80s, but I had appreciated him as a kind and fun-loving person when I was fortunate enough to spend time with him. Sincerest condolences to all those who still had the opportunity to share in his life during recent years.

My heartfelt condolences to the Jacobs family. I met Rich in high school and he impressed me instantly with his strength of personality and directness. We both had a deep love of music and he was always keen to share and learn. I had lost touch with Rich for twenty years, and then recently through social media we discovered each other again. I was really looking forward to continuing our discussions...
Know that you are not the only ones who will remember Rich fondly and miss him, his openness, honesty and passion.
