I was very sad to find out about Bob's death. I have many fond memories of him: teaching at Thunderbird School,being neighbours of Bob and Esther in Burnaby, bowling with them in a ten-pin league, and Bob co-roasting me at my retirement from teaching. Lots of fun,socializing,laughter and "cups" of scotch with Bob and Esther and my late husband, Al. May your family find comfort and strength in your memories.

It is with sadness that I heard of the passing of Bob Emmott.  He was a great friend during our halcyon days at the University of Alberta in 1954.  Although we lost contact shortly thereafter he was remembered.

My late husband Fred and Bob worked together in the Stain Glass Club here in Venture Out for many years, so I knew both Bob and Esther.He was a wonderful man and will be missed by many. My prayers are with you all

Such  a kind and gentle man and so much fun to be around him.   We loved to tease and question him.  Everyone at the stained glass club in Venture Out in Mesa has missed him the last two years.  He was an accomplished artist of glass.  He loved to make little butterflies to give to children who visited the club. Our prayers to his family. We know he will be missed by many.  May he rest in Peace.

Is this the same Bob Emmott that was our classmate at Westglen High Scool and the University of Alberta years ago ? - - - Each time we get in touch with each other, we, (Tev Estrin and I )  ask about Bob and recall those good times together !

Bob was a wonderful and caring man. He was a supportive principal during my work with him at Franklin. Bob introduced Larry and I to Nahatlatch Lake. It was such fun canoeing up to their place for a drink. Thank you Bob.

Bob was a good man. These are simple words but what higher praise can there be for a life well lived and well loved? Bob made a positive difference in the lives, hearts and the minds of all whom he encountered. The world is poorer place for his passing but he has left his mark on this earth and all that knew him will remember him with fondness, laughter and love.

Indeed a fine and loving soul has been lost.  I am so pleased I had a chance to visit with Bob and Esther just over a year ago.  I enjoyed working with Bob and was pleased to call the Emmotts my friends.  I hope he and Esther are having a wonderful reunion somewhere warm. Bob was the vice principal at Sexsmith during my first year as a teacher. What a great guy he was to work with and a true mentor. I was fortunate to continue to see Bob over the years from time to time and valued his friendship. My condolences to all of Bob's family.

My late husband, Don MacLennan, was a principal-colleague of Bob's. In the early 1990's, Don and I became social friends with Bob and Esther. Oh, the fun we had, both here and in Arizona. A few times, Don and I rode our motorcycles down to Mesa, and Esther arranged for us to stay in a friends motorhome. We basked in the sun, heard the birds in the morning, and shopped, ate, giggled, and met their neighbours.  Drank wine, nibbled and had fun with Janet and Tommy, who for awhile lived next door. All the while we heard about Bob and Esther's children and grandchildren. How proud they were of you all.  Your parents were loving, kind and had such fun in life.  Their legacy to you is that. So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a wonderful and caring man. I worked with Bob at Franklin School. He was a great principal.  I was very honored when he came to my retirement dinner. He always had a special place in my heart.
I have many fond memories of Bob and he will be missed.

I remember Bob as a teenager in  Edmonton when he started a model airplane building club in his basement for some of us younger neighbourhood kids.  I never forgot his generosity and encouragement to others which clearly continued over his life.
