Robert Glenn Lauridsen-Hoegh

LAURIDSEN-HOEGH, Robert Glenn (Rob), 62, of Vancouver, B.C, passed away suddenly on May 15, 2025 in Vancouver, following a brief respiratory illness. Rob will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. Rob was devoted to his family and was a kind, loyal, and generous friend.

Rob had a degree in English Literature, fostering his gifted writing skills and his ability to ace the 16th century authors category in Jeopardy. Rob was a creative and talented writer who could always be called upon when something well written was required. He had a special way with words and always knew what to write and how to write it. (We really need him now!)

Rob’s family is thankful for his love of music – always something new to listen to and many kitchen dance parties. Everyone knew the party was over when Rob put on Leonard Cohen. Rob loved hockey and spent many hours driving kids to hockey, coaching hockey, playing hockey, and watching the Canucks. Rob was a really good baker (omg his lemon meringue pie) and excellent on the BBQ.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandi, his children, Finn and Camille, his brother Rick and his sister Patricia. He was pre-deceased by his mom, Amy Lauridsen-Hoegh, in August 2023.
