Siu Lan Lee

Born in Zhongshan, China, she immigrated to Hong Kong and built a family with Dad, Ping Ho. She dedicated countless hours taking care of her children: Ann, Susan, Catherine, Irene and David. Mum is also a hard worker and did supplementary babysitting to help her family make ends meet. This attitude inspired her children to be hard workers as well. Our mother knew that education was important for success and a better future. She tried very hard to get us into good schools and made sure we were doing well academically including supporting her son to have higher education in Australia.

When her children immigrated across the world, Mum continued to care for her family. Whether it be visiting them in Los Angeles, Sydney, Edmonton, or Vancouver, she has remarkably touched the lives of all of her grandchildren. She eventually settled down in Vancouver.

Mum was a very health conscious individual and practiced Tai Chi for over 35 years. She is very talented and taught herself sewing, knitting, and crochet. She was also extremely resourceful and resilient. When it became difficult for her to thread the tiny needle for sewing, she guided her grandchildren to help her. It is very clear that Mum found a lot of joy spending time with children. Even when she became quite frail, her face always lit up when she saw her great-grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by her daughters, son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Fair Haven Home Society for their excellent and compassionate care, especially during her last few days there.

To commemorate and celebrate her life journey, a memorial service will be held at Mount Pleasant Universal Funeral Home on the 24th of June, 2024 at 10am. We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering her remarkable life.

敬愛的母親楊月顏（又名李少蘭）於2024年6月16日在親人的陪伴下安詳離世，享年92歲。

她出生於中山，後移居香港，與我們的父親何炳共建家庭，並育有子女：卿兒， 麗兒，健兒，健萍，友基。 她很用心地照顧家庭。她勤勞工作，為補貼家用而兼職照顧其他小孩。母親這種勤奮的態度激勵了我們成為勤奮的人。母親深知教育對成功和未來的重要性，她盡力讓我們進入好的學校，並確保我們在學業上表現優秀，還支持兒子在澳洲接受高等教育。

當孩子們移居世界各地時， 母親依然照顧著家人。無論是去洛杉磯、悉尼、埃德蒙頓或溫哥華探望，她都深深地影響了所有孫子的 生活態度。她最終在溫哥華定居。

母親非常注重健康，練習太極拳超過35年。她有小聰明，自學了縫紉、編織和鉤針技術。她也極具資源和韌性。當她難以穿針縫紉時，她會指導孫子們幫助她。顯而易見， 母親從與孩子們相處中獲得了很多樂趣。即使在她身體變得非常虛弱時，看到曾孫子們，她的臉上也總會露出笑容。

她的女兒、兒子、孫子、曾孫子、親戚和朋友將深切懷念她。

家人衷心感謝Fair Haven Home Society的關愛員工，他們在母親最後的日子裡提供了出色和慈愛的照顧。

為了紀念和慶祝她的一生，我們將於2024年6月24日上午10時在Mount Pleasant Universal Funeral Home舉行追悼會。我們誠邀所有認識她的人一起緬懷她非凡的人生。
