Stella Frangolias

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Stella, mother, grandmother, aunt and a very dear friend to many. Stella was born in Zevgolatio, Korinthias, Greece on May 17, 1930 and passed away on May 20, 2021 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy, daughter, Silvianna, son-in-law, Gary, granddaughter, Antonia, Antonia’s fiancé, Ali and many family and friends in Canada and Greece. She was a beautiful, classy, kind and very graceful woman who always had a smile on her face for everyone. She adored and cherished her family and friends and her door was always open. She lived a wonderful and full life and is now reunited once again with her parents, Konstantinos and Anna, her sister, Stavroula and "the love of her life”, her husband, Evangelos. Heaven has now gained our angel, Stella Bella, and will be sadly missed by so many people that knew her and loved her.

We we would like to extend a "heartfelt thank you" to the Vancouver Coastal team for taking care of our Stella over the last few years, especially to Aida, Angelina, Jane, Flora and Sevilla, you are all the most compassionate and amazing ladies, we could not have done this without you.

Due to the Provincial Health Orders a closed funeral will be held at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral and a burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family hopes in 2022 to host at the one year anniversary, a Celebration of Life and provide our beloved Stella the proper send off she deserves.
