With deep love and heavy hearts, our family announces the passing of Terri Marie Perrault (Theresa) at the age of 73 on November 26, 2025, of English Bay, Vancouver, British Columbia. Terri was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and great-great-aunt whose vibrant spirit brought colour, warmth, and unmistakable presence to every space that she entered. One of her greatest joys in life was being an aunt, great-aunt, and great-great-aunt to many. She adored her nieces and nephews and made each of them feel uniquely loved and cherished.
Predeceased by her parents, Edward Perrault and Lillian McCoy. Born in Garden River First Nation, Terri was a beloved sister of Phillip, Walter, Ralph, Danny (Agnes), Mike, Marten, Lorne (Shirley), and Marlene (Scott); she was predeceased by her siblings Bob Day (late Eva), Albert Day, Samuel Day, Evelyn (Dennis), and Loretta.
Born on January 22, 1952, Terri truly walked to the beat of her own drum. She lived with rare authenticity—always unapologetically herself. A lifelong learner, she devoted many years to pursuing post-secondary education and dedicated her heart and energy to advocating for women and youth facing hardship. Her generosity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to helping others left a lasting impact on countless lives.
Though she has left this world, the imprint of Terri’s kindness, wisdom, and unapologetic spirit will never fade. She walks with us still—in our memories, our laughter, and in every act of compassion inspired by her example.
May her beautiful spirit find peace, and may we honour her by living with the same courage and authenticity that she showed every day. Terri’s end of life wishes for a cremation have taken place and a memorial will take place in the Spring of 2026 in Garden River First Nation.
To honour Terri’s generous spirit, please consider celebrating her memory with red flowers—her favourite colour—or by making a contribution to a charity or community organization of your choice.
