Valerie Iris Jones

Valerie Iris (Gibson) Jones was born February 10, 1941 in Bristol, UK. In 1962, Valerie married David Jones of Bristol, UK. Two daughters, Melanie (1965) and Vivienne (1968) followed. In 1969, the family, and their cat Ginger, emigrated to Vancouver. Valerie died October 8, 2025.

Valerie was predeceased by her father, Gordon and her mother, Maisie. Her beloved David died in 2010.

Valerie is survived by her loving daughters: Melanie (Gordon) and Vivienne (Carey); her grandchildren, Rowan (Gordon), Hailey, and Gareth (Hayley); and her three great-grandsons (Thorin, Sterling, and Kain).

Valerie's life will be celebrated on November 8, 2025 in a "come and go tea" at Seasons in Queen Elizabeth Park from 1pm-4pm. All who held Valerie dear in their hearts are welcome to attend.
