Bill Inglee passed away on February 13 in Vancouver after a short illness. Bill was predeceased by his parents William “Jack” and Lyn Inglee. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Angela Wheelock, stepson Brendan Moore, daughter-in-law Kelly Wang and many loving friends.
Bill was born in Edmonton, Alberta on August 1st 1955. He graduated from the University of Alberta and had a successful career as a journalist both in Alberta and later in the Lower Mainland. Bill moved to the Lower Mainland in the 1990s where he worked as editor of The Surrey Leader, editor of The Langley Times, managing editor of 24 Hours from 2005 to 2009, ending his career as a videographer at The Vancouver Sun.
Bill had many interests including photography, travelling, cooking and scale modelling. Bill also volunteered for many years as a navigator with Air Search and Rescue in BC.
A memorial service is planned for May.
