

Garron Guest passed away Jan. 10, 2012 at Southwest Washington Med Ctr, Vancouver, WA, surrounded by his family. He was born in Minneapolis, MN to Robert and Vernis. He was a graduate of Hudson Bay High School's class of 1960.
He was a proud Air Force Veteran and a proud American. After 12 years at OMSI in Portland, OR, he retired and became a volunteer at the VA. Garron volunteered at Fort Vancouver, primarily as a blacksmith. He loved to sing and sang in many choir presentations and in a barbershop quartet.
Garçon is survived by his wife, Sharon Guest of Vancouver, WA; daughter, Dorothy Wagner & her husband, Robert, of Portland, OR; son, Robert Guest & his wife, Jonyette, of St. Louis, MO; sister, Gale Walsh & her husband, Larry Walsh of Sandy, OR; brother, George Guest & his wife, Millie, of Stevensville, MT; his grandsons, Nathan, Hudson, Huntley, Lyam; nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Tracy.
A memorial service will be held Sat., Jan. 14, at 10 a.m. at Vancouver First Church of God, 3300 NE 78th St., Vancouver, WA
